We have been raising quarterhorses for over 30 years and have enjoyed the horses we've raised as well as the great people we've met over these years. Being ranchers,we have stayed with the bloodlines that would help on the ranch, cutting, working cowhorse, and reining. We also felt it extremely important to raise a horse that looks good, paying special attention to pretty heads, good straight legs and adequate muscle.
Our
highest attainment was when in 1996, our Senior Stallion:

placed 35th in the World as a reining sire ( Equistat ) -- a horse that we bred, raised and had shown.

We purchased this stallion because of his head and his pedigree *DARCY'S OTOE. He had the prettiest head that we had ever seen, as well as a pedigree much the same as Jewells Leo Bars ( Freckles) He also had the blood of Otoe who was AAA and a Halter Western Pleasure, Reining, Track, and was the first horse to be an AQHA Champion as a two year old.
